Board Reporting on Climate Change Response and Carbon Neutrality
In October 2024, YOUNG POONG reported its key ESG management action plans for 2024 to the Board of Directors. Responding to the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and establishing a carbon neutrality strategy were identified as priority tasks among these plans. To this end, specific carbon neutrality transition initiatives were set, including measuring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, pursuing RE100 compliance, aligning with external disclosure requirements, and establishing mid- to long-term ESG strategies. We also presented action plans for advancing ESG management to the Board.
